A profound healing practice originating from Japan traditional usui reiki was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. Usui Reiki is grounded in the belief that an unseen life force energy flows through us, dictating our health and vitality. When this energy is low or blocked, we may feel unwell or stressed. Usui Reiki seeks to restore this energy balance, promoting relaxation, rejuvenation and holistic wellness.
How It Works: Usui Reiki operates on the principle of channeling universal life energy through the hands of the practitioner to the recipient. During a session, I will gently place my hands on or near specific positions of your body, allowing the energy to flow where it is most needed. This process is non-invasive and you will remain fully clothed, laying comfortably in the serene setting of Amb Day Spa. On average, you can have a restorative and insightful experience, gaining clarity, and at a minimum you will connect to a deep sense of relaxation, which is conducive to healing.

Hours: By Appointment - Tuesdays & Fridays from 9a-7p, 75min sessions which consist of 55min hands-on followed by debrief and any instructions.

This was my first reiki session with Nina and I can say I will be a frequent client. Her healing energy provided a lot of clarity and comfort. I’ve been struggling with a lot of emotional turmoil in life, not knowing how to release the emotions on my own. Through reiki, Nina tapped into areas that unblocked some stuck energy allowing me to work through this discomfort. Rather than tell me what she thought while providing reiki, she asked my permission to share. That meant a lot to me because she met me where I was at on an emotional level. I don’t know how she did it, but she must’ve been divinely guided as she was spot on! Afterwards, we sat and had a cup of tea and pulled a tarot card - her guides must’ve still been working their magic because the card was spot on too!
